Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot by Mail Wednesday, March 29th for

April 4th General Municipal Election

Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller announced that anyone needing to request an absentee ballot by mail will need to do so by 5:00 p.m. this Wednesday, March 29th, per state statute for eligible voters who are unable to go to their regular polling place on April 4th. Homebound or out-of-town voters may request an absentee ballot by mail, either handwritten or from the fillable form that can be found on our website at: https://greenecountymo.gov/files/PDF/file.pdf?id=9615. These requests must be signed by the voters and received in the County Clerk’s office no later than 5:00 p.m. this Wednesday. Mailed ballots must be voted, notarized, returned by mail, and received in the County Clerk’s office before 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

 

Absentee Voting Hours Saturday, April 1st

Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller announced that in-person absentee voting hours will be available for those eligible voters who are unable to go to their regular polling place on April 4th. Please make sure to bring a valid form of identification when coming to the County Clerk’s office at 1126 North Boonville in the Archives building to vote absentee. The voting hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Monday, April 3rdThe office will also be open for absentee voting this Saturday, April 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
